Holocaust Trunks
The Bureau of Jewish Education is proud to present the Holocaust Tolerance Trunk program, which circulates materials free from the Rose and Jack Nelson Holocaust Center of the Maurer Library to schools and libraries around the state of Indiana. Materials available include teachers guides for various Holocaust topics, books, DVDs, video cassettes, posters, etc.
The Nelson collection of Holocaust materials is the largest in the state, and teachers will find it a helpful resource to their teaching of the Holocaust. Trunks can be tailored to the needs of an individual class, whether they are studying a particular author or reading on a specific grade level.
While there is no fee for receiving a Holocaust Trunk, the BJE greatly appreciates a suggested donation of $25 to help cover the cost of the trunks and administrative fees.
